The Provincial Agricultural Land Commission (ALC) is an independent administrative tribunal dedicated to preserving agricultural land and encouraging farming in British Columbia.
May 29, 2018 - ALC Bylaw No.2 – Placement of Fill in the ALR defines when and how much fill is necessary for permitted farm and non-farm uses.
The definitions, thresholds and notification procedures defined in this bylaw must be adhered to when issuing fill permits in the ALR.
