Online Mapping Tools

Integrated Land and Resource Registry

The Integrated Land and Resource Registry provides a single source of reliable information on many different legal interests on Crown land. Legal interests are visually represented on a map and available to the public using a standard web browser. The ILRR also contains information on Crown land parcels, private land parcels (where available), administrative boundaries (e.g. forest districts, electoral boundaries), and base map information (topography, grids, etc). Click here to go to the ILRR.

iMapBC

Another online mapping tool is iMapBC, available here.

The Agricultural Land Reserve boundary is available on both these sites. It can be found in the folder "Administrative Boundaries". The digital Agricultural Land Reserve boundary is provisional and is not considered the official version of the ALR. The digital ALR layer is not aligned to the most current property boundary data in some areas. If there is any doubt as to a property's location relative to the ALR, consult the official ALR map.

In addition to the provincial sites, several municipalities and Regional Districts have online mapping tools developed for their area. Visit your local government's website to see what online mapping resources they may have available.
