Roger Mayer, Vice-Chair
Roger along with his wife Donna runs a 230 acre hay farm and beef cattle backgrounding operation
in Keremeos, which he has been operating since 1975. In the past he has served as a director to the Keremeos Stockbreeders
Association, as well as the Interior Cattlemans’ Association. Roger has also served in local government and was elected
as a Director to the Regional District of the Okanagan Similkameen in 1987. During his 18 years with the District, he
served as Chair of the Regional District of Okanagan Similkameen from 1996 to 2001. He also presently serves as a
Director for the Fortis BC Board, as well as serving in various capacities in other local Organizations in the Lower
Similkameen.
Sid Sidhu
Sid Sidhu is general manager and owner of the Bella Vista Farm Market, Sidhu Orchards and the soon to be Turtle Mountain Vineyard
in Vernon and ex-member of the Provincial Employment Assistance Appeal Tribunal. He is a past commissioner of the Land Reserve Commission, past member of
the Okanagan Landing Advisory Planning Commission, past treasurer of the Southern Interior Direct Farm Marketing Association, member of the Greater Vernon
Chamber of Commerce, the BCFGA, the Okanagan-Kootenay Cherry Growers Association and the BC Grapegrowers Association.
Gerald Zimmermann
Gerald Zimmermann recently retired from the Kelowna Fire Dept after serving for 34 years,
15 as Fire Chief. His current community involvement includes YMCA, Kelowna Fish and Game Club and the Kelowna Yacht
Club. Gerry lives on a small farm in Kelowna where he raises beef cattle and keeps a small orchard and vineyard.
