Grant Huffman, Vice-Chair
Grant Huffman is an agriculturist and rancher in Williams Lake. He is the co-owner and operator of Riske Creek Ranching Ltd. Mr. Huffman is director and past president of the BC Cattlemen's Association. He is the past chair of the land stewardship committee and aboriginal affairs committee of the BC Cattlemen's Association, past director of the Canadian Cattlemen's Association, a panelist on the farm debt review board, past chair of the Cariboo/Chilcotin Grazing Enhancement Fund, and a member of BC Cattle Industry Development Council.
Lucille Dempsey
Lucille Dempsey's family has a lengthy history in the ranching industry. She has a unique background mix that includes a professional designation as a Certified Management Accountant along with a comprehensive knowledge of agriculture and land use issues. She has been involved on various boards and associations related to the agriculture industry such as BC Cattlemen's Association, Kamloops Stockmen's Association, Lac du Bois Local Resource Use Plan, Agricultural Labour Partnership Committee, BC Agriculture Labour Market and Skills Development Initiative, and Kamloops & District Woodlot Association. Ms. Dempsey holds an Accounting and Business Administration Diploma from Cariboo College, and she is a Certified Management Accountant.
Gordon Gillette
Although raised and educated in Victoria, Mr. Gillette has made Williams Lake his home since 1974.
The majority of his working career was spent with the Cariboo Regional District where Mr. Gillette progressed through a
number of planning positions prior to undertaking management responsibilities which including Director of Development
Services, Operations Manager and finally Chief Administrative Officer. Mr. Gillette is an active outdoors man who has
previously served as a Director with the Williams Lake Sportsmen’s Association and Cariboo Archers. Mr. Gillette has also
served as Alternate Director on the Cariboo Regional District Board and as a member of the Advisory Planning Commission.
