The Provincial Agricultural Land Commission (ALC) is an independent administrative tribunal dedicated to preserving agricultural land and encouraging farming in British Columbia.

Application Portal Replaces Paper Forms

The online Application Portal replaces the old paper forms and is the new way to make ALR land use applications. Applications are now submitted electronically and are automatically directed to the appropriate local government or ALC.

Act and Regulation Amendments

Amendments to the ALC Act were passed on May 29, 2014. Amendments to the ALR Regulation were passed on May 7, 2015 and June 15, 2015.
